Since I worked at a dealer for a while back in the day I had a friend still there that did A/C repair work about 50% of the time while he is working in the shop. I just wanted to stop in to say I recharged my A/C just after getting it a few months ago with it still not cooling things off very fast. I hope that helps anyone that is having troble getting the air to get colder faster. The fill for our cars is 1.2lbs, and we put in 1.4 cause they say the lines going into the system take about that much to fill before going into the car lines. For the people that need to check to see if you need a charge you can just pop a cap off the lines to push down on fitting to see if you have a little pressure or a lot. So after just having everything done the week before mins the valve/filter, the A/C is able to get very cold just not even half a mile down the road to the point where my ears where very cold. He said if you don't pull everything out of the lines before adding things in you can loose about a good 20% of your cooling. After we swaped that line out we pulled a vac on it for a good 5-8mins to make sure all the air was out of the system. He made me order that in-line valve just on that line in the engine bay.
